XE75 performance testing using 80MHz & 160MHz channels on 5GHz band
I did some performance testing om my XE75 mesh Network using a WLANPi connected to the 1Gig port on the primary XE75, running Librespeed and iPerf3(TCP/UDP). Note - My XE75(AP mode) mesh network is running 1.2.9 and has approx. 39 clients attached across the primary and two satellites. My internet pipe is also only approx. 140Mbps.
I used both 80MHz & 160MHz channels and 160MHz obviously provided the best results I even almost managed to get 1Gbps download when using UDP. There appears to be a lot of overhead involved using TCP but was pretty much pleased with the results?
I'm pretty sure WiFi6e would also improve the performance when I next upgrade my laptop?
