Model: Archer T3U
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Current Version and Windows recommended

Hello,
since I am using the Archer T3U Plus I am having problems most of the time with its connectivity.
If it works like it is supposed to, I am quiet happy with it. but most times its rather painful.

to keep it short, I am encountering following problems on a regular basis:

1. The Adapter is able to connect to the Wifi-Network, but loses access to the internet

2.The Adapter is not able to connect to the Wifi-Network, and after reconnecting if often switches to problem nr.1

3.The Adapter completely loses connection to the Wifi-Network and is no longer able to find any network at all.

I tried quiet a lot of things for troubleshooting including:

-reinstalling OS (Windows 10 x64, Current patch)
-Unplugging the Adapter and plugging it back in after 30 seconds
-Reinstalling Windows recommended drivers
-Bios Update

-Downloading recommended chipset driver and manually installing them
-Checking Wifi network for compability issues (wpa, ports, 802.ac)

I would love to have a stable connection. Its sad that I only had negative experiences with tp-link adapters so far. But at least it works compared to the T4U i once had.

  @Lotte103

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

May I know how long have you had Archer T3U Plus? Did the disconnection start recently?

Have you tried the driver here:

Realtek Chipset Driver for Archer T2U(Nano/ Plus)/T3U(Nano/ Plus)/T4U(Plus)/T4UH/T9UH (Win7/Win10)

Is there a second USB port on the laptop?

If yes, It is also suggested to plug the T3U plus to another USB port.

Since you mentioned there were other wireless adapter before, please also try to uninstall all the previous un-used drivers.

Archer T3U plus supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Did you have similar issues on both bands?

Best regards.
