Model: Archer A5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer C86(US)_V1_1.13.2 Build 230824

I'm having problems with my Archer C86 after firmware update Archer C86(US)_V1_1.13.2 Build 230824

The device is used to wirelessly extend a Lan network, with which the Wan is not connected and is used in Wds mode.

From time to time the device deconfigures its fixed Lan IP and takes one provided by the Dhcp of the main router. On the other hand, the Dhcp server part of the C86 provides IP/gateway/DNS to clients even if said server is uninhabited (and defaults its DNS to its IP and secondary 0.0.0.0, servers that do not resolve names) thus clients have Ping but cannot resolve names.

Any ideas?

With the previous firmware this configuration was OK.

  @LisandroP

Hi, it is suggested to factory reset C86 and reconfigure it.

For your reference: How do I use the WDS Bridging function to extend my wireless network?
