FAQs
Q1: How to use Cell Lock on the Deco X50-5G?
Sometimes Deco X50-5G might be switching between different Band combinations, Cell Lock helps to manually set Deco X50-5G to the desired band combination to improve the network speed and stability.
Cell Lock is supported for 4G and 5G respectively. It is under Deco APP>More>Internet>Cell Lock.
To enable it, you need to enter ARFCN (EARFCN for 4G and NRARFCN for 5G) and the corresponding PCI of the desired LTE/5G Cell, which can be found under Deco APP>More>Internet.

Hi, Nice to see you again.
Honestly, I haven't heard any news of Deco X50-4G yet.
I can double-check with the engineer later and update it here.
Thank you very much and best regards.
Update: I'm afraid there hasn't been a plan to support bridge mode on Deco X50-4G.
May I know why you want to set Deco X50-4G in bridge mode?
Thank you very much and best regards.

Hello,
Since the last update my internet speed is slower!
I went from 250mb to arround 150. My ISP has the following bands: B1, B3, B8, N28, N78. Its a NSA 5G network, before this last update i always had one 4g band and one 5g band agregated, after the update, it only gives me separate B1 or B3 or both at same time in auto, i tried to manually select the following: B1 , N28, N78 it only connects to B1.
It doesnt connect to N28 or N78 anymore.
I tried to install previous firmware and i couldnt. What should i do?!

Hi, Welcome to the community.
Have you tried to find the Cell ID(PCI/ARFCN) when Deco X50-5G is about 250m/s and locked to this cell tower?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

Hi,
im no internet or network expert, all i can tell you is that before the last firmware update, i always had one 4g band + one 5g band.
Usually in Auto Band i always had B1 + N78 sometimes B1+ N28, this is the fastest speeds in my case (200-300 Mbps).
After the last firmware update, in Auto Band, all i see is only B1 or only B3 or both B1+B3. I mannually selected B1 and N78, but only displays B1, and the speeds go from 40Mbps to 150.
In Auto Band, the same, i cant reach 200, before i had between 200-300.
Available ISP bands: B1,B3,B8,B20, N28,N78. I didnt trie to lock cells, because i have to put values between ex: 0-1000, i have no clue what to put to the specific cells.
I dont know if the terms im using, are correct as well.

By the way, firmware 1.1.5 could be rolled to 1.1.3 directly via the web interface:
