Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.4.3 Build 20240926 Rel. 38336

hi guys,

i have a serious upload problem since probably a firmware upgrade (but I'm not sure).

as you see in the foto below, connecting via

  • ethernet cable to the router of my isp i get 315 mbit down and 31 upload
  • wifi to my phone (tethering) 121 down and 22 upload
  • wifi to my deco mesh 316 up (even more than the cable) but only 0.09 mbit up.

all these are average values based on many trials.

i have already searched the forum, have changed the ethernet cable from the router to the main deco and turned on and off qos (thats all i've found concerning bad upload speed).

help from someone would be very much appreciated.

tia

  @glideconsultant

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

May I know who is your internet service provider? Can I also have the model number of the ISP modem?

-Was the IPV4 connection on the Deco set to "Dynamic IP" or "PPPOE"?

By the way, are you able to consistently reproduce this issue?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP

hi david and thx for coming back to me so quickly :-)

  • my provider is a local cable company called LIWEST
  • the modem is an Aris Touchstone TG2492S/CE/65MHZ - 804007
  • ipv4 is set to dynamic
  • and yes, i get the same result every ..... time - just the jitter varies between 100 and 1.500 ms

can anyone pls help ?

our wifi is close to useless, people use their tethered smartphones to access the internet and we put the printers on our desks and connect them via usb.

might it help to factory-reset the deco mesh and re-install it from scratch ?

or would going back to a before-summer firmware version be helpful ?

in all those years (from apple airport over google wifi and now deco) we never more than an hour of wifi-breakdown.

here with deco we are stuck for almost a week now :-(

tia for you support

peter
