Looking for help to bind my router to my TP Link account. It currently says that the password is not correct. I did not open this router brand new, it was provided by my internet company. I am trying to set up QoS to set priority. Any assistance on this is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

On an Archer C7 it should be possible to configure QoS via the web management interface, hence no need for a TP-Link account.

Log into the Archer C7 via http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 , click on the tab named "Advanced" and then look for a menu named "QoS".

Hi  @HaydenN ,

Most TP-Link Routers will ask you to create an admin/local/device password in their default factory state. A few routers may use "admin" as the default login username and password. If you have forgotten the admin/login password, you may hard reset the router by pressing and holding the reset hole/button at its back till all lights turn on momentarily.
If you cannot log in with the  correct login password, kindly refer to the steps below:
    1). Reboot the router.
2). Try different browsers and incognito mode.
    3). Try different devices.
4). Hard reset the router to create a new password or log in with the default admin.
If you can log in via the Web Interface but not the Tether App or vice versa, please try the suggestions below:
   1). Update the router's firmware.
Via Web Interface: go to Advanced > Advanced > System Tools > Firmware Upgrade to check for updates.
Via Tether App: Tap Tools > System > Firmware Update.
2). Update your Tether app to the latest version.
    3). Reboot the router.
    4). Try different devices.
    5).  Hard reset the router.
Note: A hard reset will restore the router to the factory default state without Internet access. You'll need to reconfigure it again.
