Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.3

I bought a Japanese archer be900 hardware version v2  router.After updating to the new firmware version 1.1.3,the iPhone/ipad

network drops  out frequently with normal wifi signal shown. I need to disconnect the wifi and reconnect it to resume the  network connection each time. I ever tried to solve the problem through the methods which I had found in this forum including change the DNS,reset the router to factory setting but the problems still can not be solved. It works normally in firmware 1.0.5.  Could you please give any help to me?

Hi  @kelvinlam,

What are the operating systems of the iPhone and iPad you mentioned? What are the specific models?

Please enable the guest network and compare whether the guest network connectivity is stable?

In addition, what other troubleshooting methods have you tried? What are the results?

  @Joseph-TP

The iphone is iphone14 pro with IOS 18.2.1 and the ipad is ipad pro 2021 with OS 18.1.1. I had also change the security to WPA2 only and band width of 5GHz-1&2 to 20/40/80MHz with no help.

The internet did not drop in all device at same time. Usually either iphone or ipad lose the intetnet. I have the japanese  be550 too. It work normally.Could you help to downgrade the router firmware to 1.0.5?

It seems like the issue might be tied to the new firmware. Have you tried rolling back to version 1.0.5 to confirm if the problem persists? If it resolves the issue, it could be worth reporting the bug to the support team so they can address  Edu Updated it in a future update.

  @edemjack82

It does not allow to rollback to the firmware 1.0.5.

It  require tplink to provide the method for downgrade.
