Firmware Version: 1.14.3 Build 241025 Rel.69770n(4555)

Hello All,

I am green in router configuration matters, so please provide fairly clear answers and any questions.

I have a problem that I am not able to connect my PC to Samsung TV via Archer C64 and a service in Windows 10 called "Wireless Display".

Samsung TV has a built-in RDP option and this function works, the Internet on PC and TV as well.

I only did the initial configuration on the router.

How do I know that the problem is with the connection via the router? On the WiFi network created by the phone, the "Wireless Display" function works.

The TV is connected to the router via cable, the PC via WiFi. The same situation is on the 2.4 and 5G networks. The TV does not change the situation after connecting to the same WiFi network (i.e. there is no difference whether the connection is cable or WiFi)

Hi @Xavx,

It seems you’re trying to cast (or project) your PC screen to the Samsung TV using Windows 10’s “Wireless Display” feature, and you’re facing connection issues when trying to use the Archer C64.

Is there any error message? Can you find the TV on wireless display page of PC?

Since you have verified that you can cast the phone screen to TV normally through the phone, it is recommended that you check the settings of the TV and PC first.
For example, some Samsung TVs need to turn on the "Device Connection Manager" (network option in the TV settings)

On router, you can try to enable UPNP or set Port forwarding for TV:

Go to Advanced > NAT Forwarding > UPnP and toggle on or off according to your needs.

You can manually add rules to allow ports: TCP 7250, UDP 5353/1900

Hi @Joseph-TP ,

Thanks for respond.

" Is there any error message? "

Yes, error message what I see is that:

Its in polish but its means :
"75' Neo QLED - unable to connect"
and
"unable to connect to your device. Try to connect again using the action center."

"Can you find the TV on wireless display page of PC"

Yes, it is visible error apears when i try to conect.

"Since you have verified that you can cast the phone screen to TV normally through the phone, it is recommended that you check the settings of the TV and PC first. "

I think you understand me wrong here - when i create WiFi on phone (hotspot) and conect TV and PC to that hot spot everyting works correct (ofc. transfer is slow but i can use "wireless display" function.

"some Samsung TVs need to turn on the "Device Connection Manager" (network option in the TV settings) "

this finction is switched on and as I write befoer on difrent WiFi (without TP-Link) transfer works.

I think i made that what you suggest but it not help :(

For Port forwarding i try also change IP to TV and its not help.

Hi @Xavx,

Please confirm the AP isolation is not clicked. Go to Advanced > Wireless > Additional Settings.

Then connect both TV and PC to 2.4Ghz for a try.

In addition, please tell me what is the model of TV?
