hello,

there are about 3 problems here in the one ticket:

firstly, I am no where near a local airport - so this is very annoying - my router is not going to make aeroplanes fall out of the sky!
any military or weather radar is going to be thousands of times more powerful than my home router surrounded by concrete

this is ridiculous

why did I just spend $2000 on a router that cuts my bandwidth in half - so i lose performance (for what?) and potentially lose connection?! angry

1. The Deco App says it will automatically switch me back up to 160MHz in 30 mins - this is a complete lie - this never happens (and there are no new radar detection warnings) and I need to manually change it back, constantly. this is incredibly frustrating

then it drops me back down to 80MHz again and I have to constantly, manually switch back to 160MHz

2. I am manually chosing a band that radar doesn't use locally, after it drops me down to 80MHz, this goes back to "automatic channel", so it's not saving my setting

3. on my main SSID, which is 2.4+5 I can choose channels, but, when using MLO 2.4+5+6 - there is no way to manually choose my channels, so the radar will always say i am using the "Wrong channel" - but if you let me choose it, i can pick one that won't clash with the radar channel

if this isn't fixed, i will probably have to look at returning this to where i bought it

i don't hear of this happening to people using other brands

PLEASE FIX THIS!

i even tried 240MHz to see if it will stop clashing with radar - this still is triggering the Deco App to drop me down

  @trakman

Hi, Nice to see you again.

I think the 1.1.2 version is worth a try.

"3. on my main SSID, which is 2.4+5 I can choose channels, but, when using MLO 2.4+5+6 - there is no way to manually choose my channels, so the radar will always say i am using the "Wrong channel" - but if you let me choose it, i can pick one that won't clash with the radar channel"

---As for the Channel Selections, changing the wireless channels under the Main Wi-Fi network would apply to all the broadcasted 2.4/5GHz bands, including the MLO/IOT networks.

"2. I am manually choosing a band that radar doesn't use locally, after it drops me down to 80MHz, this goes back to "automatic channel", so it's not saving my setting"

--- Do you refer to channel 116 in the attached picture? I think band 2: channels 52-68+  band 3: channels 100-140 are all DFS channels. When it reverts to 80Mhz due to the radar signal, if the channel was set to 116, it can't apply to this setting now.

By the way, I saw your other post about Deco BE65. Did you experience a similar issue on the Deco BE65?

Later I'll also follow up on your case via email and check with the engineers whether they have any other suggestions.

Thank you very much and best regards.
