New C7, some sites will not load/load incredibly slowly.

New C7, some sites will not load/load incredibly slowly.

Used old Netgear router, worked okay but signal strength was low and iffy at times.
Purchased C7 (made Wirecutter's "Best" category; thought it would be a good choice).
Plugged in, input PPoE settings, got on, everything was okay. Chromecast doesn't work if I enable a Wifi password but whatever--it had the exact same issue with the Netgear so that's on Google, I guess.
However... Tumblr will not load. Plex gives weird issues. Tried to look up how to port-forwad for Plex and none of their support sites will load. Wife couldn't get some recipe site she likes to load. She is also very unhappy without access to Tumblr.
Tried on Windows computer. Nope. Tried on other Mac. Nope. Tried on phone over wifi. Nope. Tried in three different browsers on two different computers. Nope.
Plugged the old Netgear back in. Everything works. Tumblr loads in half a second. Plex is working without a hitch. Wife's recipe site works again.
Back to the C7. Set it to use Google's DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4). Reboot. Set Google's DNS in computer. Nope; Tumblr still won't load. Download latest firmware + update. Nope, Tumblr still won't load. Restart it a few times. Nope, Tumblr still won't load. Test the Netgear again. Tumblr loads perfectly.
Any suggestions?
