Hi All,
It has come to our attention that randomly, users reported that while using a MultiSIM on the 4G/5G router from the mobile contract, all incoming calls are being rejected, especially for the non-VOLTE/VOIP supported models. When someone calls, you might observe the phone rings for just a few milliseconds before you receive a notification about a missed call. It appears that the router is somehow blocking or not properly handling the incoming calls.

Background Information:

For a better understanding of what "MultiSIM" is for:
MultiSIM is very common in Europe. It allows you to have a kind of copy from your main SIM card and use the same contract/data plan. So you do not need to purchase another data/LTE subscription and use it with up to 5 SIM cards under the same contract. All SIM cards do ring if a call comes in, and the device that picks up will have that call. So if the mobile router rejects a call because it has no call functionality, it also rejects the call for all devices, which makes the MultiSIM unusable.

Possible Workaround:

Currently, the following suggestions would help with the reported issue.

  • Some mobile ISPs could help users block calls on a specific SIM card, so you can reach out to the ISP support for further assistance.
