Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 43624

Hi @David-TP,

I'm hoping you can help. I have a mixed Deco mesh setup:

  • 2 × Deco BE65 — firmware 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949
  • 2 × Deco XE75 — firmware 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 43624, on wired Ethernet backhaul
  • 3 × Deco XE75 — firmware 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 43624, on wireless

My main issues are persistent 2.4 GHz instability affecting Google/Nest devices and other IoT devices. Symptoms include devices connecting briefly then dropping, showing "Internal error" during setup, and appearing connected in the Deco app but being unreachable in practice.

I've read that the XE75 has a known bug where 2.4 GHz is used as backhaul between nodes, which directly causes IoT drops. I've also seen reports of the 2.4 GHz radio silently dropping on satellite nodes even with wired backhaul.

Two specific questions:

  1. Does XE75 firmware 1.3.1 Build 20251023 include the fix that disables 2.4 GHz from being used as mesh backhaul?
  2. Is there a newer beta firmware for XE75 V1 that addresses 2.4 GHz radio dropout on satellite nodes?

If either fix is not included in 1.3.1, could you please send me the beta firmware via private message?

Thank you.
