ECO mode for BE65
When will we get ECO mode for BE65? Will we ever get it?
It’s unbelievable that such a standard feature isn’t available even this long after the product launch.

Hi,
If you have a Deco BE65 V2, please click on the link to download the latest firmware v1.3.2, then update it via the Deco's web UI. Then check whether the ECO mode is available.

@Solla-topee, the BE65 V2 doesn’t have an ECO mode; it never has.

I wonder how well an Eco Mode will work if the router is heavily utilised by a very busy network? I suspect lowering power will unfortunately cause some undesirable side effects. However, maybe during some night time hours, it might work ok.

@BPCS For me it's mainly about switching off WIFI during night time. There is no need for WIFI.

I'm using version 1.32, and there's no eco mode in base station mode. Why is that?

Hi All,
Thank you for the update and feature request. The ECO mode is planned to be added to the Deco BE65 V2 via firmware updates. If you can't currently see the ECO mode in the Deco app, it's recommended to wait patiently for the new firmware and pay attention to firmware update notifications in the Deco app or the firmware details on our official website to see if the new firmware adds the ECO mode.

Sorry, but your answer is meaningless. First you say it's there, than you say wait for further firmware update.
Furthermore your website says there is ECO mode is available for BE65:

Hi,
Generally, ECO mode is being rolled out to more Deco models via firmware updates; therefore, we recommend updating your Deco BE65 V2 to the latest firmware and then checking if ECO mode is available. If your model does not yet support ECO mode, we suggest waiting for a future firmware update.
Regarding the official website indicating that the Deco BE65 supports ECO mode, I will forward this matter to the relevant department to correct the information. Thank you very much for your feedback and understanding.
