I have just come a clip on plastic rain hood for a C500 camera. Has anyone used one of these and are they beneficial.

I have just got a TAPO C500 CCTV camera and there seems to be contradictory advice on the Internet as to what size micro SD card is compatible with it, 128gb or a 512 gb.
