@zageng To solve the problem you would have to replace the TL-WR841ND v7 with another device that has a regular "Range Extender" mode that works in combination with any Wi-Fi router.

@zageng Ok, I see. So, that must be the reason why the TL-WR841ND v7 behaves different than the TL-WR840N v6. Even though WDS and "Range Extender mode" serve similar purposes, they are not the same...
