Hi there, I've just bought this router. Can I connect to a WiFi network, instead of using a sim card?

4G router has disconnected. Have tried restarting and a factory restore but neither have helped. SIM card still works in phone but not in router. Is there a solution to fix this?

Is it allowed to keep the M7200 mifi router permanently connected the a power outlet? Would there be a risk of overheating?
