Hey, kunkka mentioned the method and you can refer to it.
I contact tplink and they told me how to downgrade the firmware. You guys can try it.

For temporary solution, please downgrade the firmware version to 1.3.4 and check if the problem will be resolved.
Please do the following steps to downgrade it:
1.Please download the middle firmware and upgrade it via web browser.

Thanks it worked just perfect.
Strange that 1 from the 2 cameras I have had the issue. The other one is running 1.4.0 without issues...

Also I've noticed that 1.4.0 is not available on tp-link download site, and it's not being offered anymore through the tpcamera app.
Hope the come up soon with a better firm and do some QA test before releasing it to public

I noticed that if you are accessing it locally via the LAN/WiFi, there is no problem. But if you are trying to access it remotely, via mobile data or WIFI, it will lose connection.
That was my observation.

Hi fblt,
Do you mean the issue still exists after you update 1.3.4 FW?
I noticed you mentioned it works perfectly before.

My case was that the camera "A" after some time it became unavailable, no matter if I was on LAN/WiFi or through Internet. Power reboot was required to get it back online. So that one I had to roll back to 1.3.4The second one "B" it's still on 1.4.0 but it's working excellent. I would like to retry 1.4.0 on "A" but tpcamera app and tp-link support site is not offering it anymore

Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the confusion. My cam is working perfectly now on 1.3.4 FW after I downgraded it.
I was just sharing my observations on my cam when I upgraded to 1.4.0 then. :D
