Will LB130 work outside in cold?
Hi,
I would like to know if this bulb will work correctly outside or if the cold block his wifi signal?
I live in Quebec and can have temperature from 30*C to -30*C
Thank you

Hi there,
The requirement for temperature for LB130 :
Operating Temperature: -20 ºC~ 40 ºC (-4°F ~ 104°F )
• Operating Humidity: 10%-90% RH NC min
If the temperature is too low, it will influence the usage.
Merry Christmas.

Thank you for the information.
I guess I won't risk it considering the price :(

Well, I don't know about -30C, but here in UK, -5C is considered seriously cold. I have my LB130 outside my front door in a cheap plastic carriage light enclosure (I had to shoehorn an E27 screw socket into it) and that works perfectly well in what passes for cold in the UK. Obviously you need some form of outdoor waterproof housing.

You're lucky if they work inside in the warm for more than a couple of weeks at a stretch before losing connection, never mind outside in the cold.
