HS110 Ver 2.0 Randomly turns off/on
Hi.
I have a HS110 home plug that randomly (and very quickly) turns off and on when the plug is in on mode. The opposite does not happen (means if it's off, it's off).
Bought the plug in Sept 2018. Any advice?

Hi, power consumption is max.750W, typically it's drawing 1A~3A.
I think current draw is not trigger of inturruption. I can't find certain timing or trigger.
status LED lights off and on quickly.(only once at a time)
It was occured several times and it's make me unconvinient, I'm swapped out my HS105 to Switchbot smart plugs...but I'm using other devices with Kasa, I want use HS105 again.

Hi, when you use the HS105 with other devices, does it work fine? When you use it with the computer, it worked abnormal, you can check the computer's instantaneous power, excessive instantaneous power of appliance can cause these problems.
If the plug works fine with other devices, it is suggested to use them together.

I am also having the same issue:
HS110 ver2.0
Firmware 1.5.10
It was connected to my computer and all of a sudden, my PC just turns off. Initially I though that it could be an issue with my PC, but after many troubleshooting, it was frustrating to find out that it is actually an issue with the smart plug.
The smart plug would randomly just turn off and on by itself. When I remove the smart plug and connect it to another outlet without connecting any appliances to it, it still does the same thing: randomly turns off and on by itself. It was working fine for months when my PC was plugged to it and this just happened suddenly. Seeing an average power draw of 100-200W.

@MikeP I am actually using the energy monitoring more as I would like to monitor my energy usage from my PC monthly. I have contacted TP-Link, hope I can RMA it since it's a known issue.

@chengfatt My sons lamp does this and I thought the bulb was going bad until I noticed my TPLink in wall switches doing it also from time to time. My home security cameras picked it up. The lights on the top are on one smart switch while the lights on the bottom are on a seperate one. Any idea what this could be? https://youtu.be/w52c-My8Uq4

May I know the model number of your wall switch, like HS200, or HS220?—if possible, can I have the MAC address of the smart switch?
How long have you had the device and when did this issue start?

This is obviously a widespread issue. It's been happening for years across all models.
I just got a 3 pack of hs103 (v3.8 with latest firmware, connected to an EAP225 access point on a 2.4 only band SSID) and 2 of the 3 keep turning off by themselves with nothing plugged into them.
They are not hooked up to amazon or google and don't have any routines or schedules. They just power off and back on a few seconds later.
I can hear the click and see the blue light flash before it reconnects to the network.
Ridiculous that this is still happening. Junk quality control

@chengfatt seem to be a problem that tp-link dont want to give a sh..t..widespread problem all across the device. Have a bunch of unusable hs-105 ans hs- 103 that give random flash when on.
