Model: HS103
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.10

I have 4 of these plugs, and they have been working perfectly up until 2 days ago. One at a time they will go Local Only in the Kasa app, Alexa says they are undiscoverable. I have hard reset them, and added them back. That worked for a few hours. Now, none of them will connect. I can't keep resetting them every few hours.

What's going on and how do I fix this??

Thanks,

Kim

Hi,

Can you see remote control option when it shows local only? Is there any error message if you tried to enable it? Please show us a screenshot of it.

Besides, what is the current hardware and firmware version of the HS103? You can find it on the device settings page.

What is the mac address of the HS103 as well?

Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z I'm having this issue with the same devices (HS103) the Mac addresses are 68:FF:7B:E8:D5:6A and 68:FF:7B: E8AD:9A. No option to change the remote access. No errors given. Device firmware 1.1.2 Hardware ver 2.1 app version 2.18.0 build 900

@wrbird I never got any more feedback from tp-link. I don't remember exactly when it started working but it's on Firmware Version 1.1.3 now and has been mostly fine for the past few months.
