Model: TL-PA7010 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi

I've just purchased the TL-PA7010 kit thinking it would extend my wireless but it seems I can only plug stuff in in the 2nd adaptor. Can i buy a seperate adaptor thats can transmit a wireless signal? The other question is my router is a virgin one, I also have a spare virgin router, can I plug this one in to extend the wireless signal? As you can tell I don't know a great deal about these things.

Thanks

@BozzerHogshead

Hi, the TL-PA7020 does not support wireless function, instead, the model starts with TL-WPA supports wireless function. You can buy a separate powerline extender with wifi function to extend the wifi range.

You can refer to case 2. https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/564

Meanwhile, you can connect the spare virgin router to the powerline adapter to extend the network.

Nice day.
