I’ve recently bought 3 KC 100 cameras. I was looking to get 2 KC200’s for the outside but have discovered the cable is too short and the extension cable that is sold in the U.S. won’t be available in the UK.

Could I use a normal usb cable to connect it to the camera ?

For your information, the extension cord has an IP65 rating that ensures the device will be protected against rain and dust.

We cannot use a normal USB cable to connect it to the camera, cause it is an outside camera, a normal USB cable is not safe.
