Smart Plug HS100 cannot be provisioned by Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen

I would like to provision my Smart Plug HS100 with Echo Dot without need to type in the wifi password, but the Echo Dot cannot discover my device and failed to start provisioning.
Is only the model HS105 supported with the WSS function, or should I update the firmware?

In order to make the smart plug to work with your Echo dot, please ensure you can control it on the Kasa app correctly either from the local network or from an outside connection.
If this has been confirmed, then try to add the smart plug to your Echo dot one more time on the Alexa app, here is the guide: How to make my TP-Link Kasa Device work with Amazon Alexa?
Yes, we currently only have the HS105 support the WSS function and we may add more model supported in the future.

Theoretically, the plug will still work if the Kasa account and your Amazon account are still the same and you didn't restore its settings. However, the maximum power and maximum load for the smart plug would vary in different regions, so we don't suggest you use a US version in other regions due to security concerns.
