@Kaliper

Hello,

All the TP-Link powerline adapters/extenders are compatible with each other, so TL-WPA8630KIT is compatible with TL-WPA4220 and PA4010.

However, please be aware that there will some reduction in the speed when adding an av600 powerline into the AV1300 network. As a cask effect, the AV600 decides the performance.

So if you have AV600 already, it is suggested to buy AV600 series product, or replace them with advanced product, like AV1300. For more details, refer to the below article:

How to choose extra Powerline adapters to add into the existing network?

May it help.

@Solla-topee so if i have a wpa8630 adapter and extender kit (1200Mbps) , and i add a wpa4220 extender (600Mbps) to the network, will i get 1200mbps from the wpa8630 extender and 600mbps from the wap4220 extender, or will the wpa8630 also slow down to 600Mbps?

@zhengyu

Hi, TL-WPA8630 is AV1300 product but the TL-WPA4220 is AV600 product.

When they are connected together to use, the maximum of the powerline rate will be limited to 600Mbps.

The powerline rate will influence the actual internet speed.

It is suggested that you use the same series of powerline device togther such as 8 series TL-WPA8630.

Have a nice day!
