Two years down the road. No news, no update. Still people keep request it. I need it badly or will look for another brand.

I too am disappointed that this issue exists.  Even more disappointed that two years later it hasn't been resolved.

 Hi,

 

just set up the camera which is great but on sharing with my partner he has no controls which deems the system useless as we both work away and need to access all controls which makes no sense.

 

has anyone worked out how to do this or if it's possible?   @Solla-topee

Tp-Link offers the C200 as entry camera and does not give a clue for our requests like the sharing rights and the share to more than 2 accounts. Personally I have opened a request for more than a year for the admin rights and I am tired. In any case, other manufacturers offer much more services with their entry models and I moved to Gigaview!

The current workaround here is to share the tp-link ID account to the person which you would like to share the camera with, then that person will have full control of the camera. Now Tapo APP supports 2-step verification by this feature,  you could now see what Login Activity of the mobile devices. 

Thank you for the feedback,  I will continue share your feedback here with our team and  double-check the feasibility of sharing the admin permissions to a shared user.

Good solution! 

 

I wanted to share one camera from the four I had in the house with my three brothers and the official solution is all persons to see all cameras, using the same admin account!

 

Pfff. I moved to other manufacturer and the problem solved.

Hi Chairman/ CEO of TP Link

 

We have been requesting for shared device to allow functions such as "pan & tilt, talk and voice call, but you are not listening to us. I regret purchasing your product with limited sharing features.

 

We are not satisfied with your solution to use main email to login in other devices. This is not acceptable and also compromises the security of password.

 

There are other Brands that offers a better experience. Appreciate if you can implement the updates as soon as possible. Thank you!

I would like too to share all permissions with my wife and sons but I would like to choose the cameras and lights that they will have permissions. It would be nice to choose the permissions but that is an extra feature.
