Still no update. :(

 

Furthermore... this problem only seems to to apply to the c310 that has hardware session 1.0. I have both c310 hardware version 1.0 and 2.0. The c310 with hardware version 2.0 doesn't have the watermark.

 

C310 hardware version 1.0 has fw version 1.0.14 (no updates available) and have the watermark. C310 hardware version 2.0 has fw version 1.1.7 (no updates available) and doesn't have the watermark.

 

Let's hope that Tp-link fixes this soon... This is not okay.

Version 10.0.14 still no option to disable the watermark in c310. 
Interestingly in C200, in the on-screen display options there is an option to remove it. But this same option is not found in th C310. 
It's clearly a miss from development, which makes me wonder if hey ever read this forum :) 

 

I see they still dgaf about that, i'm surprised noone else sent back them here. We did send back like 10 of them because of this and replaced them with some from H.... About the same price, much better quality compression and no logo baked onto the image. Only thing missing is the companion app, but I couldn't care less, motioneye works perfectly.

 

Some P100 plugs can't be upgraded, who knows why. Only message is "failed", thanks for the info, very informative.

 

C200 cams work fine for now, we did send back some of those a few weeks back while they had the stupid permanent watermark, but at least that is sorted out now.

 

We still have a tp-link "smart" switch, which is working fine but the security on it is a joke. Like w t f they were thinking when creating that authentication system.

 

So yeah, tp-link product and software developement is on a new, never seen before level of bodge. Nice.

Myself as an ex-arlo user you can imagine I am happy with these cameras … but yeah. It just seems sloppy. Like if the devs don't care enough to go and implement the same code function they have for the 200 with the 310’s Well. I use it at home so don’t super care. But this can be annoying for professional use

@Martin-Wu @Solla-topee  i have also updated the app from the app store, but still all my 310 are showing in 1.0.14 as the latest firmware. Anybody can point me to what am I doing wrong?
