I want to get the TP-Link KASA KP115

But it looks like a new firmware update makes it useless for use in smarthomes (im not just talking about using a remote (app), but an actual smart home) 

Can anyone confirm this home assistant intergration actually works?

They can get hold of the firmware, im a bit worried about wasting my money?
