Where can I buy HS220 v3 switches? I have ordered mulitple switches from Amazon, but received v2 devices each time and had to return them.

 

I really, REALLY want to buy a bunch of these switches for various locations in my home, but the Watt app "night mode" to turn off the switches' status LEDs won't work on v2 hardware, and without that I can't use the HS220 anywhere where we want total darkness, such as bedrooms and TV rooms.

 

Yes, I know that Watt app is 3rd party and not supported by tp-link, but has anybody had any luck actually buying v3 switches? If you have, I'd love to know where :)

Have you tested the HS220 V3 with the Watt APP already?

By the way, May I know where did you purchase the HS220 V3 since we haven’t had this model for sale?

@TP-Link May I politely suggest you read my question again?

 

I asked where I can buy HS220 V3.

 

I have only ever seen HS220 V2.

 

If you're not selling HS220 V3 then my question would have to be where can I find HS220 V1 for sale?

Also, if tp-link really wanted to be helpful, the company would give us the much-requested "night mode" option to turn off all status LEDs on your switches. I had to return ten of your HS220 dimmers because I can't have bright LEDs in our bedrooms and visible in our cinema room. Watt App enables this night mode, but apparently only on V1 and V3 switches.

Hi,

The white LED is specially designed to allow customers to locate the switch in the darkness.

Currently, neither V1 nor V2 support turning off the LED light completely yet.

Since we have not tested with Watt APP about the night mode feature before and if V2 was not working, I suppose V1 would be the same.

And we have already reported this feedback to the senior engineers for further evaluation.

Please keep attention to the local official website for the update.
