Tapo C310 Hardware V2 - Firmware 1.1.1 / no preview-thumbnails in Recordings

Hello,
i have 2 Tapo C310. One is V1 with Firmware 1.0.14 and the second one is V2 an has Firmware 1.1.1, no Update available.
The Cam with V1 shows preview-thumbnails in recordings in the app, the cam with v2 does not, it shows only "motion detection" but no thumbnails.
i can only scroll through the time-slider to view the recordings.
does anyone have the same problem and/or a solution?

Hi I have the same issue. One camera has the Version 1 hardware version and firmware version 1.0.14. This has thumbnail in playback as well as more options in the motion detention section of the app. The other c310has a hardware version 1.0 and firmware version of 1.0.13. I use the update firmware option on the app but it tells me I have the latest version. Can you advise how I may update the second camera to 1.0.14 as it has many more useable features If I have to manually undertake the process could you indicate how I do it. ?
Sorry I'm quite new to these types of cameras.

@Solla-topee Hello, meanwhile i got Firmware 1.1.7 an the thumbnails are visible as on the other c310 Cameras. Regards, Philipp

@Rino55 Hello, for my V2 camera a Firmware Update was available via the Tapo app and after i installed it, the thumbnails worked. i don't know how tplink is rolling out their updates to the devices ... now firmware is 1.1.7. regards, philipp

@Rino55 Tapo C310 V1 1.0.13 firmware does not support thumbnails and there will be a new firmware released on Tapo C310, it is recommend to wait for a few weeks, if still no update, please let me know. Thank you for your understanding.

This still seems to be an ongoing problem? I bought my C310 fairly recently and it is all up to date:
Hardware v2.0
Firmware 1.1.10
Build 210825 Rel 70571n(4555)
It's annoying that some days I see the timeline and all the thumbnails are visible (playback mode), but sometimes I go days with only blank thumbnails and its very time consuming having to watch every detection in the time slider. Thanks

Hello @Beano Your concern seems to be different, please attach a photo of thumbnail part on camera and explain, thank you.
Please help collect the log and attach the log file here How to Get the Log of Tapo Camera? .Did you subscribe Tapo Care service?
