Troubleshooting LED loop on Deco/ Deco stuck in solid yellow
This Article Applies to:
All Deco models
Typical Problem Description:
1. One of the Deco units was stuck in constant yellow light mode and was not able to enter setup mode (blue blinking light);
2. One of the Deco units goes into this reboot loop of Solid Yellow > Blinking Yellow > Blinking Blue > Off > Solid Yellow, this cycle keeps on repeating.

Troubleshooting suggestions:
1. Please hold the reset pinhole at the bottom of the Deco for 1s and check whether the light could be back to yellow---flashing blue.
2. If the factory reset did not make any difference, please refer to this link to do a firmware recovery:

How long have you had the Deco E4?
I am afraid the hardware might be broken and if it is within warranty, you could contact the local shop retailer to get it replaced first.

@TP-Link My Deco XE75 V2 is looping between solid yellow -> blinking blue -> solid blue -> yellow. I can not add it to my network. The deco seems un responsive.

Two of the 3 DECO´s that I have has the "stuck in solid yellow"

Yes, I have try the reset and the firmware recovery with both methods and they are still stuck in solid yellow.
- The http method never connect.
- The ftp method does 2 blue -blink then goes to solid green with nothing on the ftp log activity. unplugging the device after goes back to stuck in yellow.

Model Number: Deco M5 Version 3.6.27
The lisght stays only in Solid Yellow even after rebooting through the app and the hard reset button.
I do not know how to do the firmware reset.

@TP-Link same issue in my M4 Deco, solid yellow light. I tryed the firmware reset and did not worked.
The Message was: updated file failed.
Any other suggestion?
