Hello

 

I am missing the "Remote control" option for my HS100 plug in the Kasa App.

 

I've done a factory reset of the plug and updated it to the latest firmware version.

 

I am able to turn the plug on and off when I am not connected to my home network (so using cell data on my phone).

 

Any good ideas?

' Remote Control ' option is enabled by default, if you are able to access smart device remotely when phone is on mobile data or on a non-local wifi network, that means remote control work properly. 

Sometimes Remote control option shows up when there is some issue with ' remote control' and here is a related troubleshooting guide
