Hi there, 

 

I have the Kasa spot and have recently bought a new phone. My new phone won't connect to the Kasa at all. I was wondering whether you had any suggestions (I was thinking it might be something to do with permissions but have checked that Kasa has permissions allowed on my new phone). My old phone connects no problem.

  @Sian888 Hi

On your old phone, Kasa APP> 3 lines on left top > view account, confirm you have logged into the same account on the new phone. 

Please confirm device is accessible remotely on the old phone when phone on LTE mobile data . If camera is not available when phone using mobile data, try  factory resetting one of them and reinstall it on the APP using your old phone. 

 

If still the same, can you share your TPlink ID email account, and the MAC address of the camera to us via private message?

  Hello @Sian888 

 

If smart device has been installed before, we do not need to install them again. 

On your new phone, try to login the same tplink account and password that used on the old phone, devices linked to that tp-link account will show up on your new mobile device.
