Model: Tapo L920-5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Good Afternoon.

Please consider to implement the following modifications in the software:

- A way to group and control multiple light strips in the same time, serial or parallel

- A way to activate effects using an assistant like google (if is already possible please tell me how)

I understand that for warranty reasons you are not allowing direct serial control of multiple strips with one controller and external power for each 5 m, and probably software is not designed to control more than 50 zones but will be nice to be able to set 10-15 m and control all with one controller. It is physically possible for people with soldering skills, and very easy to setup.

Thanks.

 Hello  @CRISTSC

Thank you for starting a feature request.

For Group control,  Shortcuts in Tapo APP lets you achieve an action like turn ON/OFF multiple devices with a simple tap.

What're the automation and shortcut of my Tapo device (smart bulb, smart plug, smart camera)?

How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo device (smart bulb, smart plug, smart camera)

Here are some Google voice commands that currently supported. You could set the light effect for smart strip first on tapo app , then try to activate the smart strip like ' turn on Tapo XX ' and see if works for you.

How to control Smart Devices by Google Home with voice commands

The current design is 5 meters, not extensible, there is a new model Tapo L920-10 which is 10-meter-long and you could keep an eye on the local website or  retailer stores.
