Tapo C310 Firmware
Hi
This morning the app told me there was a new update available.
However, it will only update 1 of my 3 C310 cameras.
This is the new firmware version...
And this is the older firmware on 2 of my cameras which doesn't tell me there's an update...
Any ideas where I can download the latest firmware to install via SD Card?
Thank You

Hello @Kurt80
Tapo device firmware are gradually released to Tapo users, not all in once, so you may find that some cameras receives an update while some camera doesn't, this is common. It is recommended to wait for some time like a some weeks before the firmware has been pushed to more Tapo cameras and update firmware for camera later in the APP.
How to update firmware of Tapo cameras in Tapo app
If you still did not get this update after a few weeks, try to factory reset and camera reinstall the camera, usually smart device will receive the latest firmware in Tapo APP at the end of setup process. Hope this helps.

@Kurt80 Nevermind. I managed to fix this issue too. All sorted and back on the older custom firmware which works flawlessly 😊

@Solla-topee Hi, the updates finally arrived for my 2x remaining C310s.
However, the firmware is causing the same issues I had previously with them stopping detecting motion etc
I was provided a custom firmware which fixed all my previous issues (Tapo_C310v1_en_1.1.14_Build_220317_Rel.58905n)
However, I don't believe these fixes were added into the new firmware 1.3.0 Build 220328 Rel. 64283n 4555

Hello @Kurt80
Thank you for your feedback. If it's a common issue, official firmware will usually contain the fix while this can be different if the beta is for a particular issue or scenario, I noticed there is a support email TKID220321375 for you, it is recommended to reply to this email directly to double-check if the new firmware contains the adjustment or fix, or if you could perform a downgrade for it.

@Solla-topee Hi. I managed to update the firmware for TKID220321375 so that's ok. I've also just managed to revert the firmware back to the beta on both cameras, however, they're now both coming up with this error:-
Never had this on any of my 5 cameras before nor have I had to change the DNS on my router
Any ideas?
Thanks

I just bought a tapo c200 and c310, the c200 one connected flawlessly on the first try. The c310 however gets stuck on the pairing step. It gives an amber led to show it has WiFi and then I get an error. Anyone got a fix for this problem?
I tried turning off my mesh system, my 5ghz connection, using a different phone, connecting by cable.
