I changed my wifi and needed to reconfigure my HS100. One of them went all good but the other is giving me trouble. I reset it by holding the top button for 5 seconds. Also tried holding it for 10 second until it clicks. I open the Kasa app and start the procedure, it connects to the HS100 wifi but the wheel keeps spinning and after some time it says it was unable to connect. My phone does find and connects to the wifi but nothing else happens. I DO NOT have a VPN connection set up on my phone (android).

 

Any help?

In case some other uses experience similar issue, 

 

here is an FAQ for troubleshooting Case 2 Unable to Connect to Your smart device’s Wi-Fi

If it’s an IOS mobile device, enable Local network permission on your IOS phone, make sure VPN and vpn software like Lookout AdGuard are off. 

Or a try a different mobile device to set up your kasa device.
