Hello!

 

Day 06/10 I bought 2 TAPO bulbs:

Model: L510 Series
Hardware Version: 1.0
Firmware version: 1.2.2

On 27/10 I bought 2 more:

Model L510
Hardware Version: 2.0
Firmware version: 1.0.9 build 220526
rel. 203202

The first 2 worked perfectly with the tapo app, Alexa and the switches I have at home.

While the last 2 do not want to work with home switches, but only with TAPO app, Alexa.

 

any tips?

- Do you mean the bulb does not respond when you manually press the switch on and off? 

 

  • Please avoid use the smart bulb with a dimmer switch
  • Try a different light fixture for the bulb and see the bulb works in a different lamp?

I haven't a dimmer switch and tried a different light fixture for the bulb and the bulb doesn't works in a different lamp.

 

I changed the two lamps HW 2.0 with two lamps HW 1.0 and everything works fine.

Thank you very much for the test and reply. 

If the bulb does not power on when you test it in multiple lamps, the certain bulb should be defective.

Please try to reach our local customer service to check the device warranty.
