Hi,

This relates to the Kasa Mini Smart Plugs.

Is there a possibility to introduce a feature to the standard scheduled Power on / Power off event which randomises, perhaps within +-30 / 45 / 60 minutes of the defined time, when it triggers?

As an aside - How do you determine the Hardware version / firmware Version of these smart-plugs?

Thanks!

Hello  @darkgen

Thank you for starting a feature request post.

Kasa app Away mode may work as the workaround for you, the Away mode turns on/off smart device randomly in a certain day, please check this FAQ for details.

How to setup schedule, away mode and timer of TP-Link Smart Plug/Switch in Kasa APP

For most smart devices, you should be able to find the firmware in the Device Settings.

Hi  @Solla-topee

I am aware of the away mode but by dint of being random when it powers on/off device, poses a strong possibility a security light or other lighting mechanic may only on for a few minutes during a long time window.

Thank you for your reply!
