I have set an activity zone for my tapo outdoor camera.

I agree a portion of the camera is looking into the main road.

However, I have set the activity zone inside my property and it's nowhere near the main road.

however, the camera notifies of any motion or activity on the main road.

I get hundreds of notifications every day.

 

I have to turn off notifications as it's a lot annoying now.

Is there anyway it can be addressed?

Hello  @nebupm 

 

Thank you for reaching us about the issue of the motion detection feature. 

 

Please check if you have enabled both Motion Detection and AI (Person) Detection? The Person Detection takes effect for the whole area while the activity zone is selectable on the Motion Detection. These two features will overlap if you have enabled both. 

 

Can you share some screenshots of the motion detection setup here?  Please also provide a clip video about the wrong notification via private message. We'd like to help you check it.
