Can't connect tapo devices to the h200 hub
Can't connect tapo devices to the h200 hub
Why can't I use the h200 hub to connect the movement sensor, contact sensor, the button etc. as it can be done with the h100? I am not going to buy another hub only for pairing the devices, is stupid, if there is no way to use the h200 as hub I will return everything.

Hi there;
I have hub H200 purchased with camera package c420S2. Then I purchased 6 of the water leak sensors T300 supposed that they are compatible with H200.
I am on 1.2.23 Build 20231012 rel.49638 firmware which is current at the time of writing this for H200.
I tried several things like with connecting router with ethernet cable, wifi, resetting and rebooting as usual debugging.
Two cameras are working perfect with the H200 but cannot pair any of the T300 to the hub.
I know, I should have able to pair them, please advise.
Thanks,
An update for this feedback.
These two products were purchased from different Amazon sites, the US and Turkey sites, indicating that they have different country codes and specifications. The H200 and T300 are both TP-Link sub-G devices designed to operate on different wireless frequencies to avoid interference.
According to the relevant policies in the European (CE region) and American (FCC region) areas, devices sold in these regions operate on different sub-G frequencies. As a result, sub-G devices from these two versions (EU/US) cannot be used together.

Hi @josemmm
Thank you for sharing feedback with the community!
It would be very nice that the H200 can work with the other SubG device like sensors, the team has an ongoing plan for it and it is in the planning & developing stage, we look forward to its official launch as much as you do.
Any feedback from customers is very important and valuable to us, for this case, a specialist would like to follow up your case by email, a support ticket has been sent to you. You will receive the latest update if there is any progress. Thank you!

This is so silly , I feel mugged, cos I have just brought a window sensor, smart button, and motion sensor and now I can't set any of them up cos I got the hub with my cameras, but yet on your website and on 3rd party sellers, they state works with whole eco system, clearly not , so now I'm going have to go buy the other hub now , how stupid, you shouldnt be marketing products like this when nothing supports it .
Against trading standards!

Good to know. I was about to buy a kit to have H200. This way let me stay put and await the promised roadmap features, to support all devices like H100 does.
@Wayne-TP when you have this release for H200, please let us know here too. Thank you!

Thank you for the great news. Question is there a way to buy H200 as isolated equipment?
And not part of a Camera kit, just the H200 on it's own. This would be even better news.
In a retailer such as "amazon" (in my case "amazon.es", just to be very precise).
Because I already bought 4x C500 cameras for me, and I don't need more cameras, just the H200 ;-)
Thanks,
Tiago

We don't have any news about the sales plan for the Tapo H200 so far, it is recommended to keep an eye on the TP-Link official website.

1.- I had installed a pack Tapo C420S2 (2 cameras and a TAPO H200).
2.- Then I have got a TAPO Smart Button S200B.
They couldn't work together
Now, after I installed the new firmware (1.2.12 Build 20230223 rel.34523), two or three weeks ago, every thing is right,
and I can manage the two cameras just pressing the button.
Thank you.
