Can't connect tapo devices to the h200 hub
Can't connect tapo devices to the h200 hub
Why can't I use the h200 hub to connect the movement sensor, contact sensor, the button etc. as it can be done with the h100? I am not going to buy another hub only for pairing the devices, is stupid, if there is no way to use the h200 as hub I will return everything.

I've just got a H200 hub and seems like the options to add devices are very limited from the whole Tapo eco-system.
Are smart-plugs and robot vacuums going to be added to the hub?
In my case I've got the P100, P110 and RV30 Plus robot vacuum, and would like all to be connected to the hub on an IoT network, with the hub acting as the central controller for schedules between these devices.
Thanks.

Only the TP-Link SubG devices are required to connect with the Tapo hub, other Tapo devices can join the router WiFi directly.
Despite different connection methods, Tapo devices can still interact with each other. You can use Smart Action to control different types of devices. How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo devices

Hi there;
I have hub H200 purchased with camera package c420S2. Then I purchased 6 of the water leak sensors T300 supposed that they are compatible with H200.
I am on 1.2.23 Build 20231012 rel.49638 firmware which is current at the time of writing this for H200.
I tried several things like with connecting router with ethernet cable, wifi, resetting and rebooting as usual debugging.
Two cameras are working perfect with the H200 but cannot pair any of the T300 to the hub.
I know, I should have able to pair them, please advise.
Thanks,

Did the Tapo T300 enter the Pairing mode (LED indicator blinking)? If not, try and hold the "Tapo" button for about 5 seconds.

Try to power cycle the H200 hub. Ensure your phone connects to the router WiFi during the configuration, disable VPN if any.
What's the exact error message you received?

Hi,
Well, I tried all as instructed and same here. Then I purchased a brand new H100 just in-case. I added H100 to Tapo App successfully (updated the firmware upon request). Then I tried pairing the T300 with H100 and failed again. The fail message is a standart screen on app which says Connection failed. Please do the following... bla bla bla.
Then I opened up the T300 battery compartment, removed the batt and wait a few seconds and installed them again. But nothing has changed. I have 5 more of these T300's. Shall risk opening a new one to try? But in that case I think I will lose my return chance as the T300 are from Amazon US store. Hubs are from Amazon Turkey store by the way. Do you have any continental delta with your firmwares? :)
By the way I have no chance to reach my mail which I am registered with tapo (becouse it is old.) I had no option to update it. So you are going to have to advise an alternate method for me to have the case number and inform me how to respond to it.
I am in need of your assistance.
Thanks.

An update for this feedback.
These two products were purchased from different Amazon sites, the US and Turkey sites, indicating that they have different country codes and specifications. The H200 and T300 are both TP-Link sub-G devices designed to operate on different wireless frequencies to avoid interference.
According to the relevant policies in the European (CE region) and American (FCC region) areas, devices sold in these regions operate on different sub-G frequencies. As a result, sub-G devices from these two versions (EU/US) cannot be used together.

I would love to see everything connect to the H200, including Lights and Plugs, it would be so handy to have them all controlled by 1 device, and will take a lot of strain off of the Routers in many peoples houses
