Hey,

 

I bought two C320WS at the same time, one came with HW Version 1.0, the other with HW Version 2.0.

 

With 1.0 all is fine, the 2.0 HW is missing (at least) following features:

 

- Cant be used in Automation Scenarios within the Tapo App

- Cant be assigned to a "room"

- RTSP Stream does not work

 

I find those differences in features really stupid and want to know when a firmeware update resolves all that. I dont want to send HW V. 2.0 back and try again until I find a HW V. 1.0......

 

Love the tapo cams but this inconsistency is very annoying.

Also, HW 1.0 and HW 2.0 show different Firmware Versions, the HW1 has 1.3.0 and HW2 has 1.0.4. This is probably the issue here but I cannot update HW2 as the button to search for new Firmware does nothing.

 

Does anybody have a C320WS HW Version 2.0 with a Firmware > 1.0.4??

It was suggested by Tapo Support to update my android app to 2.12.705 via apk (can´t post the linke here for some reason)

Also tried with an iPhone now, didn't work. Had to send it back and get a new one. 

New delivery was hw version 1 again, no issues but can't tell now if it's a systematic issue with hw v 2 or if I just had a broken one.
