I've used sonoff smart relays but the ewe link app is pure trash.
@VeroniT12 I used a P100 smart plug to run external Xmas tree lights. Smart plug in an extension lead, lights plugged into that. Programmed to come on half an hour after sunset and then off again later on. Worked a treat.
