Automatism with T310 and P110 with different temperature during the day
I'm trying to program an automation using Tapo T310 and Tapo P110.
In particular, during the night (21.00 - 9.00) I would like to give power to the heating by Tapo P110 if the temperature is lower than 22° and turn off if the temperature is higher than 22°, and during the day (9.00 - 21.00) the same turn on - turn off mechanism but with temperature of 21°.
How can I setting the app to create this automatism?
I don't understand how, and if I have, to use the time slot to activate the two automatisms, or probably these one will be in conflict, not allowing it to work.
Thank you
Riccardo

Good day, thank you for the post. The smart action feature can meet your needs. You will need to create several smart action rules in order to achieve the needs. Check here for more details. How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo devices

@Wayne-TP Thank you for your answer, but I'm not able to setting the app. For me it's not clear when I've to set the activeting time and the effective time of the action. Must I put also the command to activate, for exaple, the action at 9 oclock or is it enough to insert the time range from 9 to 21?
Please, could you give me the exactly commands that I've to put in the app?
Thank you

The effective time depends on your needs. Set a time range if you want this rule takes effect during a certain period.
In your case, you will need to create 4 smart action (automation) rules during a time range.
1. When T310 temperature <22℃, Then turn on P110 during 21:00-09:00.
2. When T310 temperature >22℃, Then turn off P110 during 21:00-09:00.
3. When T310 temperature <21℃, Then turn on P110 during 09:00-21:00.
4. When T310 temperature >21℃, Then turn off P110 during 09:00-21:00.
The rules will not in conflict with each other since the effective time are different.

The problem here is that when you setup and enable the smart actions (automatic rules), the P110 will not ever be switched ON if the temperature is already under the minimun.
I think this is because the action is triggered only if the Temperature measured cross the border within the time is is enabled.
For a better explanation: Suppose that you are in a 9 degrees temperature detected and it is a winter day and if the P110 is not going to be switched ON (no calefactor on) and the temprature will stay between 9 and 12 degrees.
In that scenario none of the smart actions propposed by tp-link wayne user will be triggered because the the temperature does not cross the border between the rules of temperatures established.
And there is no rule to force an evaluation of the rule just to state wether in the beggining the state of the P110 sould be On or OFF base on the rules.
This, in fact, becomes unuseful the smart actions based on temperature over/under a value.

Hi @Wayne-TP
I decided not to create a new "thread" since it is closely related to this one.
This T310 measures temperature and humidity. You can trigger actions based on temperature. This I know.
1. Could it be expected for T310 to also trigger actions based on humidity levels?
Because I have a Dehumidifier, I would like to turn it on and off (using P110), based on Humidity level (and not temperature).
2. If so is it on the roadmap/pipeline?
It works for me hugely, and any person that has Dehumidifiers ;-)
Thank you,
Tiago

Thank you for sharing your opinion on the T310 smart action feature. I'll forward the information to the senior engineer and let them check on the logic.

T310 is a temperature and humidity sensor, the smart action rule can run based on the humidity changes, don't worry.
