Thanks for being interested in Matter on TP-Link smart device devices.
The Matter protocol has adopted in some new models like Tapo P125M, but till now, from the support sid we are not sure what device may be updated to support the new protocol nor hearing any news or plan about it.
For what models will be supported, it is suggested keeping eye for the updated information in Matter introduction page below.

@Solla-topee thanks for answering. I hope its a simple software update and they dont leave us ou to dry. People like me have invested serious money in tp-link kasa & if it is technically possible to update these devices then it should be a top priority. It would benefit users like me but also tp-link would get an enourmous amount of useful data, win-win don't you think?
