I just received a 520ws pan and tilt 2k security camera and need to use a dc extension cable to reach an outlet, what is the longest extension I can use.

I have an existing 65 ft one for a previous camera that is actually about 20ft to long ( but worked fine with the lorex camera) . This tp camera doesn't work properly when plugged into it...I'm assuming it's because it's to long and has power loss...so what is the recommended max length...ty
