Hi there,

 

So it looks like there are no options to create a Camera Account for the D230 Doorbell so that it can be added to Homebridge like you can with the cameras. I like being able to get notifications and view the camera through the Home App on iOS via Homebridge, but I don't think I will be able to with the doorbell because there is no Camera Account for 3rd party access.

 

Can this be added at all please?

Hi,
Currently, the battery-powered Tapo Camera models do not support the RTSP and ONVIF protocol, and they can only be viewed via the Tapo app.

While we don't have any specific details that I can share about if this feature can come to the product or when it might, I'll log the feature request and pass it along to the team to evaluate.

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully, something can be brought to the doorbell to allow this as it is the main thing missing from what could be a great device, and should be there for the cost of it.
