We would like to inform you about a recent change in iOS 17 that has affected the default system notification sound volume. In iOS 17, the previous "Tri-Tone" notification sound has been replaced with "Rebound".

 

As a result, some users have reported that notifications from the Tapo or Kasa App are now quieter, which may cause them to miss important alerts. It's important to note that this change is part of the iOS 17 system update and is not related to recent device firmware or TP-Link App updates. Unfortunately, we do not have direct control or the ability to modify system-level sound settings. This change affects all apps that rely on the system notification sound.
