Alexa voice communication with Tapo doorbell on Echo Show 5 devices
I was disapointed to find out that there is only a video view and no voice communication available between my echo show 5 devices and my new Tapo doorbell. Would be very helpful to have the feature available in the near future especially for my elderly mother who finds the mobile app to challanging to use.

Excuse my question but I didn't see any firmware update on the H200. How did the mic function suddenly enable on Alexa? Can you share? Or each time to enable it we need to put a special request?

Support the MIC function on the Alexa devices request the support of the Tapo H200's firmware and the TP-Link account, the latest firmware of the Tapo H200 already supports this feature, while the support of the TP-Link account is still in process, we have added your account to the support list so that you can use this feature with the doorbell camera.

Hi, just sent you a message with the MAC address of my H200 hub, as I'm also having this issue.
And also, is there/will there be any way to automatically show the footage from my Tapo D230 doorbell on my Echo Shows screen whenever someone presses the doorbell button? I bought this doorbell because I thought this would be the case.

Thank you for the MAC address provided, and I'll reply to you via a private message once the MIC feature is available for your account.
Generally, if you have configured the Tapo D230 to work with Alexa properly, the camera's live stream will pop up on the Echo Show screen when someone presses the doorbell.
