Hi all,

 

Just a quick one, both myself and my neighbour invested in D230 doorbells a month or two back. They came with the H200 hub and we both ended up getting H100 hubs thrown in for free via Amazon. The Tapo website says that the H100 is not compatible with the D230 however the Tapo UK store mentions that the H200 can be the master hub and the H100 used as a secondary chime. But for the life of me I can't figure how to connect the H100 to either the doorbell or the H200 to have it ring when the doorbell is pressed. Any done this successfully? Or is a second H200 hub going to be needed?

By creating an automation rule, you're able to use H100 or H200 as a secondary chime together with D230. How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo devices

 

The smart action (automation) rule can be created as follows. 

 

- When: Tapo D230 Doorbell Pressed

- Then: H100 Ring, H200 Ring
