Having the option to dump the SD card historic is a good addition.

Quit feeding your customers with BS. You know damn well that tp-link wants people to pay for the subcription and will never give the ability to deleted individual recordings from the sd card like you can on the cloud recording. You have been passing this "concern" on to "relevant departments" for years now! Either tp-link has the dumbest development engineers on earth or you just want to keep sticking it to your customers! It's that simple!

I have no idea why video clips cannot be removed individually via the app. This is a basic function that already makes me question buying these cameras.

After 353 post asking for this feature, it should be quiet obvious that it is a cost benefit for them not to provide a feature that doesn't come with a cost.

Totally agree with @Phil-TC85

Given this is raised 2023, can we have the feature already?

Currently, the alternative methods are below:
  1. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recordings > Local Storage page and click on Format microSD Card to format the inserted SD card. This action will erase all video recordings stored on the SD card. We recommend that you back up any important video clips before formatting the card.
  2. Connect the SD card to your computer using an SD card adapter, then manually delete the video recordings you no longer need on the computer.

 @Solla-topee

How the hell is this even a "solution"?

Would you format your computer when you want to delete a single file, each time and every time?

Would you remove your HDD/SSD and put it in another computer to delete a file, and put it back every time?

Deleting individual recordings is essential to remove unnecessary videos or to protect privacy in case something is recorded unintentionally. Since users are often hundreds of kilometers away and have no physical access to the SD card, this function is absolutely necessary. From a technical perspective, this should not be an issue, as the camera already manages and overwrites recordings. Formatting the entire SD card is not a reasonable solution.
